Martha Wang

Martha Wang joined Fidelity International in mid-2005 as a dedicated China equity research analyst, responsible for the consumer and banking industries.

Martha began her career in the investment management industry in 1993 at Huaxia Securities, based in Shanghai, China. In 1994, she moved to be a deputy manager at Indosuez WI Carr Securities in Shanghai.

In 1999, she joined HSBC Asset Management in Shanghai as a chief representative, providing proprietary research on Chinese companies, macro-economic development and industry trends.

From 2002 to 2005, Martha was the senior investment analyst at First State Investments (HK) Limited in Hong Kong. As a China Specialist responsible for evaluating Chinese securities and producing research reports for China and regional portfolios, she provided portfolio management assistance to the firm’s dedicated China equity funds.
