James Abela is the portfolio manager of the Fidelity Future Leaders Fund and Co-Portfolio Manager for the Fidelity Global Future Leaders Fund and has managed mid and small cap portfolios since 2013.

He has been in the financial industry since 1995, holding various roles including portfolio manager and investment analyst at Constellation Capital Management, research analyst at BNP Equities and senior consultant, accountant and tax advisor at Ernst & Young.

James has completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Marketing) and a Master of Commerce (Finance, Business Law and Taxation), both at the University of New South Wales.

Maroun Younes is a Portfolio Manager at Fidelity based in Sydney.

Maroun joined Fidelity as an investment analyst in 2012 and was appointed Co-Portfolio Manager for the Fidelity Global Future Leaders Fund in 2020.

He has been in the financial industry since 2006, holding various roles including Investment Consultant for global advisory firm, Towers Watson.

Maroun holds a BBA & Bec from Macquarie University, Australia and is a CFA Charterholder.

Terence Tsai is the Global Sector Lead for Technology and an Analyst & Portfolio Manager at Fidelity International based in Hong Kong. He has been managing the Future Connectivity Fund since 2025 and has 12 years of experience in the financial industry.

He joined Fidelity as an Investment Analyst in August 2018, and between 2021 to 2024, he expanded his responsibilities to include taking on an Assistant Portfolio Manager role for the HK/China strategy. He was appointed the Global Sector Lead for Technology as of September 2024. Terence began his career as an investment banker with Merrill Lynch focusing on technology companies in Palo Alto, California.

He has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration plus Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Southern California.

Lukasz commenced with Fidelity in June 2023 as Global Cross Asset Specialist and has since been appointed as Head of Strategic Sales and Solutions. Lukasz works closely with clients to communicate Fidelity’s broad investment strategy and market views. He is also involved in helping identify new investment capabilities and products into the Australian market and contribute to the overall growth of Fidelity’s business. Lukasz has over 20 years of investment management, consulting and investment research experience.

Lukasz joined Fidelity from Lonsec Investment Solutions where he was Executive Director, Chief Investment Officer (CIO) responsible for growing and overseeing approximately $8B in AUM multi-asset and equities SMA/MDA portfolios. Before his role as Executive Director, CIO, he led Lonsec’s investment consulting division. Prior to Lonsec Lukasz was Research Manager at ING Australia and commenced his career in finance with BT Investment Management.

Lukasz is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and was previously a director of CIMA Australia.
